Wedding Accessory Trends for 2019

Bridal accessories are taking the world by storm - Styling your wedding dress is super important and can really create a certain 'look' for your day.

Here are some of the latest trends for this year…

 

Statement Long Veils

Your wedding dress is your personal statement, but your veil can be your legacy! If your wedding dress is simple and elegant, consider wearing a unique statement-making veil to complete your bridal look. 

If you’re considering a very long veil it’s worth noting these are not the ideal choice for shorter brides, as longer veils will make you look shorter.

 

Plainer or Cut Edge Veils

Bridal veils are the perfect finishing touch to nearly any wedding day look. Add a level of classic bridal beauty with the simplicity of a plain edge veil.

Wearing a plain edge veil will definitely put the beautiful finishing touch to your look without competing with the design of your gown.

 

Hair Vines & Combs

Unadorned hair is beautiful on its own, but bridal headpieces have the power to pull your entire look together. I recommend you choose your hairstyle before you pick your accessories, since some types will look better with up dos than others. 

 

Belts

Add the perfect finishing touch of sparkle to your dream wedding dress with an exquisite bridal belt. whether it's feminine flowers, lustrous pearls or intricate beading. Bridal belts can be sewn onto the dress or simply tied into a cute bow at the back. Many brides like to put them on in the evening for another look.

Silver & Chrome

Move over rose gold (although still very popular!), silver & chrome are making a comeback this year - from evening gowns to makeup, shoes and accessories.

 

Pearls

Pearls continue to be a big trend this year and a timeless wedding accessory whether on your wedding dress or jewellery. Whatever your bridal style – classic, boho, vintage or country – they can work with any look. Incorporated into your overall wedding theme, there are so many different pearl accessories, decorations and designs available and possibilities for pretty and tasteful embellishments.

 

Always try on your accessories with your Wedding Dress to make sure they all ‘work’ together before you buy and more importantly before the Big Day……………this is one of my main ‘Go To’ pieces of advice!!
